The company Teuschler Ges.m.b.H. was founded in 1953 by Mr Franz Teuschler Senior as
Sole proprietorship founded. The company's field of activity ranged from round and
Lumber trade up to the production of sawn timber and hewn construction timber. 1979
the sole proprietorship was transformed into Teuschler Ges.m.b.H.. The focus was on the trade in softwood lumber, telegraph poles and railway sleepers.
In the meantime, Teuschler Holz has become a firmly rooted constant in the international
timber trade. We have had our own sawmill for our production since 2020.

Sawmill
As one of the most modern sawmills in Austria, we offer maximum flexibility in the processing of hardwood and softwood, including special cuts. Our aim is to achieve maximum added value from every log and to process the round timber in the best possible way. Thanks to modern technologies, such as our high-precision wood scanner, we can optimise each board in a targeted manner and make the best possible use of the valuable raw material. Variety and quality are our top priorities.

The history of Teuschler Holz
From our origins in the 1920s, through the founding of Teuschler Ges.m.b.H. in 1953, to the present day, we have stood for quality and tradition.
1920s
Great-grandfather starts trading in logs.
1950s
Grandfather goes into the timber business and opens a timber mill.
1970s
Franz Teuschler takes over the company after the sudden death of his father and continues to run it.
1990s
Takeover of Müller Holz and expansion of the product range, increased trade with Italy.
2010
Takeover of the Heinzl sawmill and modernisation of production.
2024
Arno Teuschler, son of Franz Teuschler, joins the company.
