Hardwood

Firm & resistant

Our hardwood range extends from robust oak to elegant black walnut and offers the right characteristics and look for every requirement. The variety of hardwoods that we stock allows you to create customised solutions for a wide range of applications, whether in furniture construction, interior design or exclusive wood projects. Each wood is characterised by special properties such as high resistance and aesthetic variety. You can rely on our high-quality hardwoods, which are characterised by both their beauty and their durability.

Oak

Oak is a hard, resilient hardwood with a distinctive grain and high density. It is characterised by its durability and weather resistance, which makes it ideal for furniture, flooring and outdoor use.

Beech

Beech wood is a particularly hard, dense and robust hardwood with a fine, even grain and a warm, light reddish colour. It is very resistant to wear and pressure, which makes it ideal for furniture that is subject to heavy use. It is also easy to bend and process.

Black walnut

Black walnut, also known as American walnut, is noble, dark brown to black in colour and very decorative. It is medium-hard, easy to work and is used in high-quality furniture, interior fittings and veneers.

Red oak

Red oak is somewhat lighter than domestic oak, but has an equally characteristic open pore structure. Its wood is slightly reddish in colour, easy to work and particularly popular for furniture, interior fittings and veneers.

Ash

Ash wood is tough, elastic and stable at the same time. Its light yellow to pale brown colour and lively grain make it popular for sports equipment, furniture and stairs. It is easy to bend and machine.

Lime tree

Lime wood is soft, light and very homogeneous with a fine, light colour. It is particularly popular with sculptors and carvers as it is easy to work with and hardly splinters.

Chestnut

Chestnut wood is similar to oak, but is lighter and more elastic. It is durable, has good weather resistance and is ideal for outdoor buildings, furniture and interior fittings. The grain is subtle, the colour warm brown. Chestnut is also used as construction timber and is visible in historic buildings and wine cellars.
