Band saw operator (m/f/d)

The log band saw is the centrepiece of our modern sawmill. Here you control the entire system from our cockpit and are responsible for producing the best products from the raw material. Your tasks

  • Ensuring the proper operation of our band saw line
  • Maintenance and care of the bandsaw line, mechanical and electronic understanding an advantage
  • Ensuring the quality standard of our sawn timber and responsibility for cutting with the band saw

What you bring with you

  • Structured and performance-orientated way of working
  • Interest in working with wood as a raw material (knowledge of wood is an advantage)
  • Willingness to work in 2-shift operation and to work overtime
  • Willingness to rotate the workplace and fulfil various tasks in the company
  • Basic understanding of mechanics/electronics or technical systems (no training required) - if you are motivated, we will teach you everything!
